Citizens in Florida will receive new Food Stamps (SNAP)

Food Stamps are now SNAP benefits, but their aim is the same. To fight food insecurity and help American citizens eat healthier food. Even if it is a Federal program and the United States Department of Agriculture funds it, States Administer it.

Florida is not an exception and they send monthly Food Stamps from the first day of December through December 28, 2023. While some States arrange payment using the client’s Social Security Number or last name, Florida uses the case number.

Therefore, it is of vital importance that you have your SNAP card with you. In this way, you will be able to check when your Food Stamps arrive either this week or the next one.
