They could get Food Stamps (SNAP) worth $973

After a year of soaring prices and really high mortgage interest rates, it is time to start looking for Food Stamps. Many Americans have a different financial situation and the SNAP rules have changed slightly, so they could now become eligible for this money for food.

While some states have finished sending our Food Stamps because they started earlier or had just one payday, others are still doing so. For example, four States are sending SNAP benefits from October 1/2 through October 20, 2023.

As a matter of fact, there will be a little more than a week to receive Food Stamps. It is of vital importance to plan your monthly budget and know when your money arrives. In this way, you can wait until you have your SNAP benefits on your Electronic Benefits Transfer card to make your purchases.

WHICH STATES WILL SEND FOOD STAMPS THROUGH DECEMBER 20?

Although there are many more SNAP payments in the USA, let’s focus on those that will be over in just 8 days. For instance, New Mexico will finish sending checks on December 20. Families can take advantage of Food Stamps if they have a low income, SNAP can help them buy more food for less money

To get Food Stamps in New Mexico, you must have filed first. Then, your Social Security Number will be essential to know when your payment arrives. Have a look at the two last digits.

If the last two digits of your SSN end in 06, 26, 46, 66, or 86, your check will be ready on December 12. Those whose last two digits end in 17, 37, 57, 77, or 97 can receive their money on December 13. When you have an SSN ending in 07, 27, 47, 67, or 87, you will collect SNAP on December 14.

TENNESSEE AND WASHINGTON WILL SEND SNAP THROUGH DECEMBER 20

Tennessee uses the last two digits of the head of household’s SSN. For example, if your Social Security Number ends in 55-59, your Food Stamps will reach your EBT card on December 12. If it is from 60-64, it will arrive on December 14.

Following the same pattern, there will be SNAP payments through December 20. The last payday will be for those whose SSN ends in 95-99. Washington also sends checks through December 20.

Remember that only those who meet all the requirements can get $973. If you have other earnings or money in the bank, it may reduce the amount of your Food Stamps.

Families with 4 members in the 48 contiguous states may be eligible for SNAP checks worth $973. If your family is not so big, the maximum amount will be smaller. For example, if you are single, your check can be up to $291. A family of 3 on Food Stamps can get up to $766.
